Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars® is part of a nationwide network of community-based scholarship foundations, 87 of which are in Iowa. It is a program of Scholarship America®, the nation's largest non-profit private-sector scholarship and educational assistance organization.
CLASS OF 2023 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING ONLINE PROFILE AND APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
- Create your online profile.
- When creating your profile, do NOT use your SEP student email address. We need to be able to contact you after graduation.
- Click the link to log in below and create an account.
- Be as complete as possible with your profile. This will lead to more scholarship opportunities.
- Apply while applications are open - February 6, 2023 - March 10, 2023

There are essays, so make sure to leave time to respond. Recommended essay length is 200-300 words. We are looking for quality, not quantity. Scholarship decision committees receive multiple anonymous applications to review. So, please BE THOROUGH in your responses, answer all extra questions and essays-they are read!

If you are under 18 during the application period, you need parental consent to apply for scholarships. You will need to enter a parent email address to complete the consent process.

When you are done with your profile and you match to scholarships, click "APPLY TO ALL" above the list of scholarships available to you. BE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE THE DEADLINE TO CONFIRM YOU CLICKED "APPLY TO ALL".
- Email invitations will be sent out in late April for Scholarship Recognition Night on May 10, 2023. Be sure to check the email you use to log-in to your profile! (not your SEP email address)
